Website Income – June 2007

By Max | July 1, 2007

After adding it all up, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that this month my websites outperformed last month. The grand total this month is $3,667.45. That represents about a 10% increase over last months earnings. The biggest boost over last month came from Kontera since I was running their ads for the entire month instead of just a partial month. Earnings improved in every category except TribalFusion. Last month I had a site get on the front page of digg and that artificially inflated TribalFusion earnings above the norm.

Here’s the breakdown:

Google Adsense: $1,585.77
TribalFusion: $1,393.83
Kontera: $394.23
ValueClick: $57.48
AuctionAds: $91.14
Direct Ad Sales: $145.00

I also had a few plans to increase my website earnings last month. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to accomplish everything on the list. Out of the five, I completed #1, got denied for #2, and didn’t have time for #3-#5. I spent a lot of time travelling in June for work and fun. Also these last few days I spent most of my time trying to acquire another website.

I encourage you to stick around for next month. I am really excited about the CounterStrike site. In my first full day running adsense on there I earned $27. Sometimes these gaming sites do better on weekends when kids are out of school, so I am not going to jump to any conclusions in guessing what the average might be. I do however plan on trying to boost revenues, so I expect July to be huge.

Congratulations on a successful month. My small revunue stream was down last month. I had about ten total hours of down time due to my host having some troubles. Traffic was up for all of my sites but conversion rates were down.

I got lazy for part of the month so I have no one to blame but myself.

Yes, I know what you mean. Its hard to stay focused all month long. I constantly struggle with my own laziness. :)

Max, I’ve been reading for a couple weeks, added you to my reader. I’m enjoying the site – your new counterstrike site will be a great case study.
