Beginning Search For Flip Candidate
By Max | June 17, 2007
After my last big buy in March, I have been holding off on buying another website until I recoup some of the money. Since it has been three months, I am going to start up the search for a new site. I don’t want to have so much money tied up in websites, so I am really going to try to find one that I can improve in some way and then sell for a profit rather quickly. Wish me luck.

Buy mine for the low price of $2500. Lots of potential once you add some posts and forms of monetization!

Keep us posted. I know you will need to keep some things secret but this would make a great blogpost series as you go through the process.
I have been a regular to sitepoint since you turned me on to it. I haven’t bought anything yet but I am shopping.

Wow, you have a great site here! What I find more interesting is that you have all these valuable tips, yet you don’t have any ads up to monetize this site! Oh, you’re definitely in my hotlist!

Lorna, I am glad you like my site. I haven’t made any money from this website. I feel more motivated in my other websites when I have to write about it here all the time.
Joshua, When you get your earnings up to $250-$300 then we can talk about the sale.
Joey, Sitepoint has a great marketplace, but there is a lot of junk for sale. Be careful if you are going for your first one. I would recommend to start small until you get more comfortable. What I really look for is as many screenshots and data as possible. This gives me additional confidence the seller isn’t out to really scam people. For some reason most scammers don’t like to give details.
