Website Income – May 2007

By Max | June 1, 2007

After making some tweaks with the ad mix and experimenting with some new networks, May turned out to be a pretty good month. The total haul for May is $3345.15! Thats almost a 20% increase from last months revenue. Here’s the breakdown.

Google Adsense: $1,576.17
TribalFusion: $1,541.48
Kontera: $128.98 (up for 8 days)
ValueClick: $44.90
AuctionAds: $33.62
Direct Ad Sales: $20.00

One thing that really helped this month was when one of my sites landed on the front page of digg. Digg brings a lot of traffic, and although the traffic doesn’t convert very well, the volume was enough to double my daily average earnings. I earned over $200 just that one day. I sure would like to average $200/day. :) The digg traffic that day was about 8 times the normal traffic that site receives. Fortunately my server held its ground and didn’t crash under the heavy load. I have a dedicated plan from Hostgator.

Next month I expect to do even better, since I’ll have Kontera enabled for a full month. Tomorrow I’ll detail my plan for increasing June revenues.

Awesome. Too bad you didn’t have kontera running when that Digg hit.

Is this for your entire network of sites, or one site specifically?

I found you through 2 Bros Blogging. Interesting content here. I subscribed to the feed.

Also, I kind of like this layout. I think it might be the Red on White with Black text.

I know, I probably would have pulled down another $40.

    @ Work From Home,

Yes this is my entire network of sites, which basically consists of 3 sites. Take a guess what they are. :)
1 site earns about 2/3 of the revenue, another about 1/3, and a small one which earns about $60/mon

    @ Joey,
I tried to subscribe to my own feed, but couldn’t get it to work. Does it work for you? I tried to install the feedburner plugin and there might be some issues that I am working through.

Hey nice blog here, I found some interesting topics as well.

I have a question, how much traffic (uniques) do you get each day to make 3345.15$ ??

Take a look at my new blog if you can: http://www.usmansworld.com
