Kontera Is Now Up And Running

I have been running Kontera’s ads for a couple days now. Unfortunately their stats are one day lagging, so I only have one day of data to report. Yesterday, running Kontera, I made $15, so if that revenue trend continues, I should do pretty well over the course of a month. It appears Kontera generates just about 50% of what adsense is doing on my site. I may even try adding Kontera to some of my other sites.
The interesting thing to me, is that there doesn’t appear to be a drop off in revenue from other ads. You would think that having Kontera ads would cannabalize some of the CPM or Adsense revenue, but so far so good.
Another thing I didn’t know about Kontera is that they also serve up YPN ads when they don’t have their own native ads to display. This is pretty cool, and a good back door way to access YPN advertisers without having to struggle trying to get a YPN account.
I got denied in my application to Casale. Apparently, most of these CPM networks don’t want forum inventory. I can only guess thats because forums get a much higher number of page views per visitor.
